The aim of the Edinburgh Postal Pipe Band & Dancers is to promote the art of Highland Piping, Pipe Band Drumming and Scottish Country Dancing in a safe and friendly environment.  We play at many engagements in Edinburgh, throughout the UK and beyond.  A key commitment of the band is it’s support of community events.  We also regularly play at Civic Receptions and Sporting Occasions throughout the year.

The Edinburgh Postal Pipe Band is a non competitive band and because of this we provide an ideal, relaxed environment where you can play and/or learn. We have all grades of musicians, from World Champions to beginners, who come along to enjoy our unique atmosphere.

If you reqire a piper for that special occasion then you are at the right site: we can supply solo pipers, quartets, mini bands or full band and for a truly unique event why not book our country dancers for that special cabaret.

If you wish to join the band or merely to drop in for a visit you will be made very welcome.
The band meets every Thursday evening at 7.30pm. at the Royal Mail Sorting Office at Comely Bank, Edinburgh (opposite Flora Stevenson’s School).
